Seems like everything that I learned 25 years ago (before I put my tamburica away) has changed - tuning and strings! When I was a kid - here in Canada - on all the brac tamburicas the string second from the bottom on the brac was a double string. In G-tuning it would be the D string. Today in a lot (if not most) pictures of first brac.
Why did the double D turn into a single D?
Maybe another stupid question - I don't know.
